Is it possible to install an SSD such as Crucial M4 on Asus N61VN laptop?

When I went to a service centre, I was told that it was not possible to install an SSD on this laptop because of the motherboard. However,when I visited Crucial's web site, it said that an SSD can be installed (http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/compatible-memory-for/ASUS/N61Vn/list.html). So I'm just wondering if the guy at the asus service was lying to me.
