Why is everyone shocked that I don't like to eat shrimp?

I was at my uncle's house and they were having some kinda dish includong shrip. I told them that I dis't like shrip and my uncle, aunt, and cousins were shocked! They were like, "How can you NOT like shrip?!" and "It's really good, especially with is pasta!" I just don't like shrimp. My sister old them that I hated shrip when I was a little girl. My aunt put some shrip on my pasta and told me to try it. They wanted me to try it. I didn't want to, but they said whatever, my loss. Everyone keeps telling me to try it. My family dosen't really respect me that much because of my autism spectrum that I have. My aunt and uncle forced me to eat it! What do you think about this? Are you shocked that I don't like shrimp?
