Self cleaning on GE Spectra DIAL KNOBS?

I am at wits end. I have cleaned oven and when I try to use it the clean light blinks and nothing heats to cook. So today I put the oven on clean again at 8 am, light burning steady. Then at 1pm the CLEAN and OVEN ON lights were blinking. I thought that maybe it was on the cool down stage. I then left it alone. 2 1/2 hours later they are still blinking. I get on google and read the manuals. There is nothing in there referring to any of this. One said to turn oven to off and open door. I did this and now when I turn oven on, it still shows only the clean light blinking. Can someone help me? I have not been able to use my oven for cooking for over 2 weeks. I have unplugged, let sit over night and it still changes nothing.
